Canadian Cities with the highest crime rates (list may surprise you)

Statistics Canada reports that incidents of reported crime dropped across the country in 2009. Both violent and non-violent crime is down in most Canadian cities but there are regional trends. Western cities rank higher on the list and Canada’s largest cities, often most associated with crime, actually rank quite low.
